Good Day Guys, im not sure if ill be able to get some assistance on this iMac problem but here goes nothing.
I have a 5k 27inch iMac that does not want to power on. The PSU is good (tested on another imac) and the diagnostic LED's are all off. Anyone have any idea where i can start looking? ;)
Good Day Guys, i seem to have screwed up somewhere. After poking around too much i see that PPDCIN_G3H - went from 16v to less than 1v. it jumps between 0.4v and 0.7v constantly. seems like ive lost power to majority of the board. :(
Thanks for the help turns out the Display assembly had an internal short, which kept blowing L8300. Replaced assembly and L8300 all is working fine now. :)
Gurmon Great News replaced R7020 and machine fired right up :D:D. everything seems to be working as should however the machine does appear to be running rather slugish. Has anyone come across such an issue after water damage.
Good Day, got a 820-00138 board, has history of water damage, board was cleaned off, not getting a green light and no power. what will i need to check?

Good Day, a short update. pin 14 and pin 1 of r5393 are same voltage and the trace is good. So im still stuck with a board with no green or orange LED.
