No liquid history, no corrosion visible
Backlight comes on but no logo
CPU gets hot
Tried known good screen
SSD0 Voltage rails 2.5v, .8v, 0.9v all present.
No toggle of caps lock light
No external video
No USB activity

DM on pins J8500 1,3 .36v, .36v

Yes, trying revive. Would not complete. Tried restore. Would not complete. Timeout waiting on DFU state.
Now get logo when starting holding Command R. Logo 30seconds followed by 15second black screen, repeat.
Capslock toggle working.

Command R now allows attempt to load recovery software from Apple. Does not attempt from local disk for some reason. However only 5th attempt completed without 2005F error but then said could not find host and went back to beginning.

Does appearance of apple logo signify NAND being read?

Getting Apple logo means at least T2 boot partition is OK.

You should try recovery with ethernet cable, instead of wireless.
