Macbook A2337 820-02899

Machine came in for Display repair.
Replaced LCD only and checked and it was fine.
after a day it is not turning on. Drawing 5V with very low amps cycling between 0 amps to 0.45 amps.

Thermal scanning shows on point on U7700 heating up.
traced it to PP0V805_S1_VDD_FIXED.

Diode mode to ground on this board is 0.002 where as on another board it is 0.280.

Try injecting voltage there; no more than 1V.

i removed both the caps and U7700. the short still remains. CPU gone ?
i get 8V to 12.3V at PPBUS as well.

Injected 1V. nothing on the thermal camera. slight heat i think on the cpu. i assume CPU gone.
