Hi Everyone new here, I am working on the above macbook model that is not charging. It turns on with a charged battery however does not take charge. I am thinking this has something to do with current sensing.
I put under thermal camera and had chips UF400 and UF260 heat up. I replaced these 2 chips and heating is no longer present. UF260 was reprogrammed with proper bios. I am stumped, have spent few days trying to figure this out so am now reaching out to all you masters out here.

Below are some readings before fuse removal.

Ameter - 20v in 5v load & 0-150ma fluctuating power.

F5200
Voltage - 4-5v fluctuating
diode - .518

UF400
FF200 - 4-5v fluctuating
LDO - 1.5v
LDO Core - 3.3v

UF500
FF202 - 4-5v fluctuating
LDO - 1.5v
LDO CORE 3.3v

PPBUSAON - 8-12v Fluctuating
PP3V8_AON -3.8v

Removed fuse to test upstream and am now getting constant 12v on pin 1 F5200
Diode Pin 1 F5200 .566
Diode pin 2 f5200 - .510

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Did you replace UF400 from donor board, same model and position?
I purchsed the uf400 from my vendor phone lcd parts. Installed in correct position. Attached is photo of chip removed and the new chip installed.

With "position" I meant that it MUST be removed from same position of donor board (same model).
I wasn't talking about chip orientation, when soldering.

Please, write directly into bottom reply box, instead of clicking Reply button.
I don't see any reason to quote an entire post, visible few centimeters above.

Ok so I don't know what position the chip came from. It was purchased individually from my parts vendor.
Do I need to get a Donor board with same model # 820-02020 and replace the new chip on the right that was installed?

If board still works with charged battery, then the problem must be on the USBC area.
Check for moved, or ripped off components on the area.
