    A2442 820-02098 5V 0.25A -> 0.05A Blown CD3217 and TPS62180 ELC180

    @Omanyd Just saw your reply here, sorry probably too late now. I have noticed that this model if shut unproperly cycles with no battery connected. Not sure if anybody else experienced it. It goes 0V->5V 0.2A->20 0.1A (for short time) and back to 0V again when board is not connected to battery...

    SOLVED: A2485 No picture internal or over HDMI

    Unfortunately cannot test with known assembly as I don't have one. Only have 2442 model which is 14" and seems not compatible. I can see the capslock light comes on and off and can hear the chime. The customer mentioned he saw a faint screen (no backlight). I can't see anything. but sometimes...

    None of the DFU attempts succeeded. Maybe not DFu issue? What I get now is it goes 20V 2A while charging the battery. Since it's charged it makes the ding noise like charging the Mac and stays at Goes 5V-20V 0.01A and resets the USBc meters, then dign again and repeats 3 times until settles on...

    Fitted a top case from another A2338. Turns on and works, Diagnostic comes with: There might be an issue with the power port PPP001 Failed to push it to DFU restore mode. Have another A2338 here which went into DFu mode. The setup seems to be correct. Just this one doesn't want to enter. Any...

    No liquid damage history. The owner is a teenager, so getting any reliable information is a challenge on its own. Battery detected and shows good health, only 3% left, scared that might drain mid-DFU restore. Its the original battery that came with the mac. I will try to source a spare one to...

    No heat signature, dead cold. First connected its power cycles to 20V 0.16A - loads the system, power cycles then repeats. Seems like it cuts off at some point, but can't detect any shorts around CD32s and major lines. liquid impacted areas are: LP800 UG800 UH802/908 U2020 CE501/515 JH500 and...

    Lenovo Flex 5 LC56-14T blown after connecting USBc charger - 19V 0.04A

    Yes TPS51393 for sure, but I had one from the donor board, which is the other failed board. So how reliable not sure. And I don't have this chip. I would have thought that 5V and 3.,3 fire separately. Could missing both voltages at the same time would be still faulty TPS51395/3 How can you...
