Hi, I received this yesterday, see photos attached. Since taking them i have removed 6 shorted caps and ultrasonically cleaned all the crap. I haven't gone any further than this. Wondering at this stage, do i proceed with bothering to fix this, or is it a garbage board? One saving grace...

That's a replaced R8178, from a donor - it measures 100ohm as it should and has continuity on both sides. I don't think it is related to this problem, since PM_SLP_S3_L should be generated before reaching it and it isn't? The last photo shows u6100 area on the left, but not through microscope -...

I gave u1950, u6100 and u1900 the flux treatment. No cigar. Were you proposing replacing these chips?

I've checked R6929 - it's a solid 2k There's no corrosion anywhere on the board. I removed u6900 and used diode mode, red on ground, black on sys_onewire - i got 0.7v
