Well after cleaning the board in the Ultrasonic cleaner it started up. The only problem I have now is it's working fine on the battery and mains but if the Macbook is shut down and I plug the magsafe in it boots up. Battery is charging and has only 120 cycles so not sure what could be causing this.

Thanks, I've just stuck it in the cleaner just in case that sorts the problem out. Question, does it make a difference which OS is installed for the ME to work correctly

Would someone be kind enough to clean the ME for me. All rail voltages are present including PPVCC_S0_CPU. No liquid damage and I get fan spin. I'm suspecting there might be a problem with the BIOS/EFI but I don't have the means to clean the ME. If needed they have Big Sur installed on the SSD...
