820-00426 Clean ME Please

Would someone be kind enough to clean the ME for me.

All rail voltages are present including PPVCC_S0_CPU. No liquid damage and I get fan spin. I'm suspecting there might be a problem with the BIOS/EFI but I don't have the means to clean the ME.

If needed they have Big Sur installed on the SSD and has been test on another MacBook.

Try this as is, don't change serial number.

Thanks, I've just stuck it in the cleaner just in case that sorts the problem out.

Question, does it make a difference which OS is installed for the ME to work correctly

Clean ME region is automatically paired with the PCH, when board boots.
Doesn't matter if macOS is present on SSD, or USB support.

Well after cleaning the board in the Ultrasonic cleaner it started up.

The only problem I have now is it's working fine on the battery and mains but if the Macbook is shut down and I plug the magsafe in it boots up. Battery is charging and has only 120 cycles so not sure what could be causing this.

Did you try shuting down the machine from macOS, by software?

It ended up being my Magsafe cable which was faulty!!!
