after triggering SMC it's back to 3v3 on PM_PWRBTN_L. and drops every time i trigger smc like clockwork

hmmmm now PM_PWRBTN_L is stuck on 1v continiously

actually im wrong, it does it repeatedly, it's just hard to catch. drops down to almost 0

Ok so triggering SMC_ONOFF_L drops the voltage to 0.4 or even less initially. however it doesn't do it again until i have the machine off the charger for a bit and then start again. Bascially only does it once after plugging in charger

revisiting this now, just received donor boards for it jsut in case. PPBUS_g3H is 12.56v and stable SMC reset is 3.37v stable Does nothing on SMC bypass, no fan spin. checked with two other DC in boards as well 3v3_S5 available I replaced ISL and now I always get green light, no more...

short momentarily back. then gone again, without any power going to the macbook. I'm so confused

new ISL got rid of the short. Hopefully it'll stay on

Checked if SMC_RESET_L is present and it is. PP3v42_G3H is also present I reflowed the SMC, no change I'm guessing this is definitely an SMC replacement isnt it?

Hmm now that you mention it, I see a ton of corrosion on the trackpad board, However keyboard doesn't work without trackpad connected, should it work with just the keyboard by itself or no?
