After U7100 it's now at 4V

No short to ground on there, and it's got continuity between the two ends. Just replaced U7100 and it's the same symptoms. Sometimes has green light, sometimes it doesn't

PPbus is 0.6v however was 8.6 when green light was on

Hi there have 820-00165 here, no sign of liquid damage. was showing green light and did quarter fan spin on SMC bypass. At the moment it has no green light. Also pin 3 on U7100 is showing 0.3v but PPDCIN_G3H_ISOL on R7110 is shwoing 16.6v Pin 2 is 16v

tried another SMC, dead only charging light comes on. interestingly when i press the power button the light goes from orange to green then back to orange gonna check voltages now

it's the SMC... crap!! just tested donor ISL with exact same issues! what's the best way to get hold of SMC's? just donor boards?

also, checked a few batteries, known working, all the same

SCL = 2.6v SDA = 3.4v diode mode both are 1.5 (red probe ground, black probe pin)

So with the battery, when the machine is on and I unplug the magsafe, the computer will go off like it's going into sleep or hibernation. Fans will keep spinning. I'm assuming that's because it cannot detect the charge in the battery. The battery symbol from the status bar is also completely...

Just tested with magsafe 1 + adaptor, nothing, dead! Magsafe 2 no issues! WHAT!! However it cannot detect the battery unfortunately still hmmmm

Do you know what happened? do you think this is permanent? or maybe is it just coming on temporary?
