    Not pure short, so no easy to heat anything with low voltage. You can try with 3V, using a performant thermal camera. May need to wait few minutes, to detect few degrees differences.

    You can try DFU shorting 3V3_S5 to ground. That prevents the Intel side to boot.

    Check voltage and diode mode at SCL/SDA lines of battery bus. Also check resistance (ohm scale) between pins 17/18 and 27/28 of U7100.

    3V3_Sw_LCD should pulse at same time with EDP_PANEL_PWR_EN. Maybe I understood you wrong. "I get 3.3V there very briefly before it goes down to 0V" Was this reference about EDP_PANEL_PWR_EN?

    Did you test the board disconnecting LIO flex? Checked for USB activity (both ports)?

    Apart of no liquid, customer said something about how problem appeared? Do you get SSD voltages? Any chance to enter DFU mode? Sudden death may be caused by faulty SSD.
