    It doesn't need too much heat to be removed from the corners. And the small amount remained under the chip can't impede to remove the SMC. Preheat the opposite board side first. Removing CPU heatsink also helps.

    These signals must be present always. Trigger SMC_ONOFF_L and check for drop pulse at PM_PWRBTN_L. Be sure PM_RSMRST_L is kept always high.

    What about 3V3_SUS? Check PCH's RTC (DC) signals.

    Ooops, that points to bad T1. If you are lucky enough, may be only bad J4402. You can inject until 2V there, for test.
