    820-3332-A with no audio

I took the known good jack from another Retina 15 early 2013 and it is definitely OK. Will removing R6896 kill the digital out functionality? If that's the case, I can live with that. Thank you for the useful answer.

    820-3332-A with no audio

Hello, bought a Macbook Pro 15 Retina mid 2012 with damaged audio jack, internal speakers work fine. When I plug in a known good audio board 821-1548-A (headphone jack), nothing works, no internal speakers, no headphones, and I get the red light inside port. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro 15 820-2850 both fans pulsing every second

Resistance 17/18 is 3.5 Ohm, and 26/27 is 21 Ohm. TPS51125 looks clean.

    820-2879 Green light no start

Found short in ppvcore_s0_cpu line, diode mode is 0.014v. Also ppvcore_s0_mcp is 0.015v. No corrosion around TPS51125. PM_PWRBTN_L is going from 3.3v to almost 0 when shorting SMC_ONOFF pads.

MacBook Pro 15 820-2850 both fans pulsing every second

Diode mode with leads reversed reads 0.515v, resistance to ground is 10.42 kOhm. History is unknown :(. PPBUS is NOT stable

MacBook Pro 15 820-2850 both fans pulsing every second

No, it does not charge a known good battery. In diode mode PP3V3_S5 is 0.140v. Is that normal?
