Macbook Pro White screen boot loop 820-2915-B

Oh so it's actually the GPU not the crappy solder like the 2011 GPU recall?. Ok got it. Funny thing. I went around the board and touched up a few caps and components that looked suspect. Now it boots and I've been running you tube and music on it for the day. Now I know that this could be...

Macbook Pro White screen boot loop 820-2915-B

Ok so second attempt at heating up GPU worked. I do not have the equipment for a Reball. I think I've heard many times that reflowing doesn't do squat to these big chips unless you have the proper equipment. I'll just put it back together and see. It's a practice board so not a big deal.

Macbook Pro White screen boot loop 820-2915-B

Hi, I see that the white screen boot loop is caused by GPU failure. This one was a water damage board but only on the USB port side. I know people say this issue is a rabbit hole and I should junk it. I've heated up the GPU with the JB for 2.5 minutes with 160 degree and still the same white...

3 BEEPS BAD RAM - Mid 2015 Macbook pro

Well I have a client who took his mid 2015 MBP to the "genius" bar and they said nothing was wrong with it. After he brought it home he did a clean install and it would just keep rebooting. I booted it from a good OS and same issue. Then I did a PRAM and SMC reset and now it boots the the 3...

[SOLVED] Torn GND pad. Can I jump a wire to other cap's ground?

Hello, I'm working on a 820-3332-A. I see a torn pad on the ground pin of C8452. Can I just jump a wire to C8454's ground right next to it? Or do I need to find a separate ground not connected?

[SOLVED]820-3023 -Sensor TS0P Skin 0 failed ASD test. Need to know what component that is?

Ok I see from this forum (which I should have looked at better) that this sensor is the trackpad. Now that the track pad is connected it passes. So any help with why it boots slow only with the HD? Works fine off the USB ASD. Both OS and EFI. I've also checked the HD and it boots fine on...
