For $29/mo, we provide access to advanced level technicians who will answer your questions on any Macbook board related matter to the best of their knowledge promptly & walk you through how to solve your problem so you can deliver a working board to your customer.
Mac arrived without turning on, with 5v on all ports. Perfect board, no oxidation.
It didn't have the PP3v3_g3h line. I discovered problems on the PPVIN_G3H_P3V3G3H line, with 2v on the PM_EN_P3v3_G3H, after replacing the D6902, I now have 4v on the PM_EN_P3v3_G3H, but 2.2v on the PP3v3_g3h...
This is my first time using this model and I haven't found any boardview or schematics. If you have any tips, please.
I removed the power supply and with it only on the power supply, there is no 12v! My question is, does it generate 12v without it being connected to the board?
Some capacitors...
Yes, I checked all the LDO lines in diode mode, all with good values, comparing with the data I have in flexBV!
I don't have another board to remove the U8100. The customer will replace the board.
Thanks again for the tips!
Perfect. I understand better now.
I only have voltage in one line. In diode mode, all with good values.
U7700
PP0V72_S2_VDD_LOW - 0
PP1V2_AWAKE_PLL - 0
CAP_PPSPMU_VLDO9 - 0
PP0V855_S2SW_CIO - 0
PP0V805_S1_VDD_FIXED - 0
PP1V2_S2_CIO - 0
U8100
PP1V2_S2 - 0
PP3V3_S2_UPC - 0
PP1V8_AON_MPMU - 1.8v...
Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm using pages 29 and 34 to see the LDOs of the U8100 and U7700.
The only line that has voltage is PP1V5_VLDOINT_MPMU - 1.5v
The others, no voltage.
Used it for one day, the next day it didn't turn on anymore.
I compared the U8100 and U7700 LDOs in diode mode, everything is normal!
Doesn't recognize it in DFU mode.
Still learning about the power sequence of M1 boards.
The board is perfect, no oxidation.
PPBUS_AON - 12v
PP3V8_AON - 3.8v
I only have voltage on the CD3217 that has a charger. Is this normal for this board model? Not to show voltage on both chips together?
PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE - 1.5v...
I think the problem was the UB400, in the measurements it didn't have the 1.1v LDO (with the charger in its port). I changed it and it started working again. I'll test it and see if it doesn't stop.
The logic board arrived dead. There was a short circuit in the PP3V3_S4_SOC_PMU line (C4203).
After the repair, it turned on and worked fine for 1 day. Then it stopped charging the battery, all ports with the battery are 20v. Without the battery, 5v and 0.004a. The ports of the U3200 and U3100...
The customer replaced the logic board at Apple 11 months ago. It is perfect, no oxidation.
During use, it has caused kernel panics! Mac freezes, coolers go to maximum in 1 second and restarts. Sometimes it stays working normally for hours!
Follow the report generated, maybe you can shed some...
The client reported that the Mac was working, but it stopped recognizing the charger and the battery ran out.
The board is perfect, with no oxidation. But in diode mode, the PP3V3_UPC0_LDO line was altered by 0.033. The UF260 was heating up a lot.
My question: can I replace just the UF260 or...
To test and find out the bad side, correct me if I'm wrong.
Using the logic of the older ones. I thought about removing the RR201 and making a jumper connecting AMR_RIGHT_OR_ND_1V8 to AMR_LEFT_OR_ND_1V8!
The Mac works fine. But it doesn't turn off when the screen is closed. The hall sensor fails and the Mac turns on (as if the screen had been lifted). If you leave the Mac turned off, with the screen open, it doesn't turn on.
I checked the board, everything is perfect. I looked for the sensor to...
I don't have a recorder for this chip.
But I found something strange. I don't have 1.8v on the CB302, but I do have it on the CB402. The CB302 line doesn't have any 1.8v line. I made a jumper between these components, but nothing changed.
