So the cpu is bad? Would reballing be worth a shot

Booted off of windows and worked installed the graphics driver *intel hd 6000* and it shut down and shuts down when using the same os with that driver installed

Safe mode worked. On login screen the screen flickered and made weird lines going up and down the screen it hasnt shut down so far

Now it shuts down as its loading os (apple logo with loading bar)

Wrote a clean ME bios file on this one and no change. Where can i learn about what would be an issue with the bios? And im using a file i believe i found on the forum that had a clean ME, are you saying that i need to clean the ME myself from a good bios because im not sure how to do that

Yes max fan speed in smc bypass i tried ubuntu normally and it hasnt shut down

Reballed smc and tried smc bypass same thing sometimes just gets past the login screen sometimes it dosent completley load in after password

I have a 820-00165 that had liquid damage, after ultrasonic it boots then after a minute or so shuts down. c5001 and c5020 were messed up replaced no change. when it shuts i can short r5115 to turn it back on, tested without keyboard.

everything there pulses. pp3v3_s4 stays at 0.3v while pp3v3_s5 stays at 3.3v. s4 does pulse to 3.3 all other 3v3 lines pulse. everything on the s4 line looks clean should i look into that more or could it be something else

So i would have to check all S0 rails because i get a pulse on all of them, but if all_sys_pwrgd pulses dosen't that mean all other S0 rails pulse. do i need to check every line outside of S0 lines? All lines on page 62 pulse excpet backlight i dont have a screen connected so that shouldnt pulse...

ALL_SYS_PWRGD pulses to around 2.5v. pp5v_s0 pulsed as well. Am i looking for a short on those 2 pages?

all pm_slp signals pulse to around 0.4v sometimes they go higher to around 1v some like s5_l only goes to 0.1.

sorry about that. Green light present PPBUS_g3h - 8.6 pp3v42 - 3.42 pp5v_s5 - 5 pp3v3_s5 - 3.3 pp3v3_sus, ppvrtc - 3.3 pm_slp_s4_l is missing, i get 32khz on clock chip and dew_pwrgd is 3.4v bios area had a bad resistor (r6121) replaced. All traces are good tried clean ME bios. pp15v_tbt line...

Was water damaged near the screen connector backlight chip and caps were removed because they didnt look so good connector is off the board as well was in very bad shape and what would i use for the usb. Laptop came in with no image on screen internal screen ended up working after replacing...

This only happens sometimes so it can be considered no power but this board was in pretty bad shape to begin with

This board normally takes 0.8 watts but sometimes when it takes 3.5 watts spi_clk goes through 0.4 to 1 volt and repeats all resistors on that line are good and tried clean me bios no change.

I have this 820-00239 that turns on cpu gets warm and usb mouse lights up but no image internal or external. backlight chip and 2 caps near it are currently off the board if that matters

I'm getting 3.5ohm on those 3 coils on another board. if i do leave the probes on this board, it goes down to 0 or 0.1 theres not much left on that line is there anything left to do?

Correction board took around 0.1v at ppbus tried again on coil and took 0.1v and 3amps the only common rail that is shorted between those coils was ppvccgt_s0g
