Hi, Need help with a A820-00165 board. Green light and then goes amber but no fan spin. Came with a short and changed C7375 to eliminate the short. Replaced F7140 and i get a green light and then it turns amber but no fan spin. PP5V_S4RS3 missing in L7520. What next...

Will have to give this one a pass since I don't have a donor board on hand. Thank you.

Without battery, with battery but still no luck. Fan spins at about 2500 RPM. Let me clarify one thing... I keep the power button pressed for 10 -20 seconds to get in to SMC bypass mode. Is that the correct and only way? Anything else i can check for this random shutdown on battery?

This one is driving me crazy... I keep the power button pressed for 10 - 15 seconds but find no change in fan speed. I am not sure if i managed to do a smc bypass. I still shuts down on battery. will run for maybe a few minutes. Any other way to do a smc bypass?

Need help with a 820-00165 board. Runs perfectly fine on battery but the moment i connect the adapter cable it shuts down completely. I changed the DC board but still same behavior. I have a green light that turns yellow but no voltage on F7140 when connected to Adapter. 7.6v on F7140 on battery...

How can i confirm if it has started in smc bypass. I keep the power button pressed for 10 seconds but it boots up and behaves like it is normal. I read it becomes slow but i don't feel any difference.

Battery change Done. SMC Reset done. PRAM reset done.
