    820-02020 - PPBUS_AON low

    Hi, after a CD3217 replacement the MacBook Pro M1 (A2338 / 820-02020) no longer boots into the OS and it shows the "restore" screen. I have noticed that PPBUS_AON is 11.98V instead of 12.3V, any idea where I should start? Note: - Device restore via AC2 doesnt work ... Error 4014. - PP5V_S2 =...

    820-02016 - No Trackpad / Keyboard

    Sadly I don’t have a working one. DFU restore should complete even with no keyboard/trackpad functionally right? Edit: https://boards.rossmanngroup.com/threads/a2442-820-02098-no-keyboard-or-trackpad.64468/ here it was also 0V, so I think it’s normal. Edit2: What does AC2 error 16383 mean?

    So IPD_SPI_EN should always be high even when I just take measurements on the logic board (without anything connected - except USB-C ports)?

    Ok U0600 (M1) is generating it, right? But diode value is fine - Source: https://openboarddata.org/?a=showboardsolutions&bpath=laptops/apple/820-02016

    820-02016 - No Trackpad / Keyboard

    I have replaced all three ICs (UT310/60/65) ... just in case - the issue consists. RT372-376 = fine RT303-304 = fine RT305-307 = should be 47k ohms (at least it's written in the schematics) ... I have measured 6.8k ohms. (similar measurements on a donor board - so I guess it's fine?) Is it...

    Any idea what else can be the cause of the none working trackpad/keyboard?

    But it is. (With battery connected - fully charged - it is 13.1V) UR200 signals are fine, IPD_LID_OPEN_1V8 = 0V when closed and = 1.8V when opened.

    Pin1 of LT400 - PPBUS_AONSW_IPD = 11.97V Pin2 of LT400 - PPBUS_AON_IPD_FLT = 11.97V (without battery connected) Edit: I think it’s a LID sensor/circuit issue because when I open the MacBook (display) it doesn’t boot overall. I have to press the power button manually. Maybe that’s the reason...

    820-02016 - No Trackpad / Keyboard

    I have checked both sides, same results. (LT400-3) 11.97V without battery connected. (battery charging is working) What do you mean with "bypass the coil"?

    LT400 = 11.97V - seems to be low. LT401 = 3.3V LT402 = 3.3V LT403 = 5.2V

    820-02016 - No Trackpad / Keyboard

    Hi, Im facing keyboard and trackpad issues (no function) on an A2337 (820-02016 / MacBook Air M1). I have already tried the following: Replaced the flex cable (between logic board and trackpad) Tried another top case (same issue) Replaced UT330 and UT355 IPD_SPI_EN_CON = 0.596 IPD_SPI_EN =...

    U8100 and U7700 getting warm after like 20seconds - maybe i just killed the PMUIC and U7700 🤞 (5V / 0.40A)

    820-02016 - 5V / 0.02-4 A - No boot

    Fixed - R5222 was blown replaced it now PPBUS_AON is back on 12.27V. I noticed that PP3V8_AON_VDDMAIN is just at 2.8V (too low) instead of 3.8V. Step 1. Check for a short to ground on PP3v8_AON_VDDMAIN. C5887 is a good place to measure from. Normal diode mode to ground reading = ~.350. -...

    My fault other way around … C5220 = 180k ohms C5260 = 2.3 ohms so R5222 and R5221 right?

    C5220 = 0.520 C5260 = 0.580 F5200 removed / C5254 = 0.9-2.5V (looping) Yeah true ... its a reset signal - sorry.

    Yes I have tested it without anything connected. (no audio board etc.) PPDCIN_AON_CHGR_R = 5.0-5.1V CHGR_AUX_DET = 1.2V CHGR_RST_IN = missing / 0.580 PPCHGR_VDDA = 5.0-5.1V PPCHGR_VDDP = 5.0-5.1V CHGR_AMON = missing / 0.591 CHGR_BMON = missin / 0.592

    I have re-soldered the original PMU IC .... PPBUS_AON is still looping between 0.9 and 1.1V - what the ... ? The following are missing .... - PP3v8_AON_VDDMAIN / 0.320 - P3V8AON_PWR_EN / 0.565 - CHGR_EN_MVR / 0.598 U5200 is good - Will be PP3v8_AON_VDDMAIN generated when PPBUS_AON is at 0.9 -...

    820-02016 - 5V / 0.02-4 A - No boot

    Hmm IC looks good and perfectly soldered - I will re-do my work. Edit: After re-do same result - so I guess the IC is faulty because PPBUS_AON is looping between 0.9 and 1.1V … I hope I will get a refund (source: AliExpress)
