I remember the forum had a list by Louis listing most the donor boards, small parts and their sources. I can seem to find it. I am pretty sure it was on the first page as a sticky note.. Am I missing something?

I thought I was buying an adapter so that I can plug in a a1466 2015 ssd to 2.5" sata adapter, I got it today but its pci-e x4 not 2.5" form lol..Any ideas besides having a working mother board...

Lenovo B480 has no signs of life beside the battery charging led blinks for 1 time less than a sec..when the charger is plugged in. The PCH chip get really hot..Also the S5 and S0 state diode connected to the pch is bad (readings in both direction in diode mode)..No one has the boardview for it...

I have purchased it right after he started selling it on his website. Been using it since then, the only thing I don't like is when I am wicking soldering pads on a board using 400C on my soldering iron with wick..it turns brown and hard so fast..I need to constantly clean it.. :(

Looking for a flux that does not turn brown at 400 centigrade temp...

Hi dukefawks, no I forgot to mention the WiFi bar was still searching even when connected to wi-fi. No prior repairs. Changed the whole assembly with a Grade A(LOL), can't get a new assembly for god sake..I asked the customer when did he start having that issue. He can't remember. No torn...

Thanks dukefawks, I just entered 820-00165-A on aliexpress and found the board with holes. I was typing a1466 2015 macbook air which only showed new boards.

Can't even find broken boards anymore. New boards are like $500+. Hesus

Took it apart. Bad lcd connector, wine all over the periphery of the board. Soaked battery and keyboard.. Should I even quote the repair? Found two on eBay for around 690$. Technology is so low income.

Yeah, no money in screen repairs. $20 profits on a screen repair. For that $20 you have to deal with hell. For example, "oh it looks different", "is the glass kind of not flushed with housing", "oh it's not responsive as my cracked screen". Louis saw this in his magic ball long time ago....
