ok thats wierd, the magsafe shows a green light on another board , but changed i anyway for a new one and guess what i have 2.9v at adaptor sense, but still no green light ,the other voltages are as before

820-3332 no green light, im a little confused , i have ppbus g3 and pp3v42, at u6900 pin 1 (sm_bc_acok) i have 3.4v pin 5 (adaptor_sense) i have 5.15v, at pin 4 (sys_onewire) i have 3.4V but no green light ?, forgot to say no signs of any liquid damage anyway

Hi ive got an 820-2936 board with liquid damage, at first board would not turn on , thats all sorted then there was no audio and thats sorted but now its not seeing the battery, at r5280 i get 3.4v each side and r5281 i get 3.4v pin 1 and 135ma pin 2, r5281 measured 1.9k but changed anyway and...

Hi Duke all the liquid damage was around u7100 and u3090 but also looks like the ssd has some too, im afraid i dont have a scope , did try with the meter but couldnt detect anything , would be willing to order a scope if you think it would make my life easier :-)

out of complete desperation i changed the lcd connector even though it looked fine and the feedback lines measured ok and now i have backlight :-)

yes voltage still 12.2v on lcd connector , 0v on EDP_BKLT_PWM pin 8 of lcd connector and 0v everwhere else for that signal , is it pssible to run a wire from l8300 for the 5v or am i gonna blow the board

yep EDP_BKLT_PSR_EN at U770 present , as far as i can see no corrosion anywhere , did a pram reset and yes lcd works on another board
