unforunately DP_INT_HDP is not accessible (hidden behind cpu glue).
I resoldered the connector 2 times now and double checked the contact but i got the same result.
Unforunately i dont have a known good LCD for this model...
Hi,
i got a A1534 (820-00244) that came with no backlight. When I opened it i saw that it was opened before and the lcd connector on the board was ripped off and backlight fuse was replaced.
So Replaced the lcd connector then i got an image but no backlight.
After some measurements around U8401...
I changed L3404 now MINI_CLKREQ_L is low.
I don't know how i measured PP5V_WLAN 5v... maybe i measured PP5V_WLAN_F instead by taking the wrong pin of L3404...
MINI_RESET_CONN_L and MINI_CLKREQ_L:3.3V
PCIE_MINI_PRSNT_L: 0V
C3430/31 are good and so is L3401 (0 ohm resistance between pins 1 and 2 and between 3 and 4 and also OL between pins 1 and 3).
Good evening,
i have a problem with a 17" MBP from 2009 (810-2610).
WIFI is missing on this board (macOS shows "No hardware installed").
Everything else (camera, etc.) works fine.
PP5V_WLAN is present and the connector seems good.
I already tried a known good wifi-card.
Forcing th board in DFU worked. Maybe the keyboard is defective. But unforunately I can neither restore nor repair. It throws an "No such directory or file (NSPOSIXErrorDomain)" error...
Ok, after removing UE501 (there was some corrosion on it I didn't see) the 1V25 rails are normal and I got 20V, 0.22A and stable PPBUS_AON on DC power.
Hi,
I got an M1 Macbook (820-02020) with some strange behaviour.
It suffered from liduid damage around UF400, Touchpad connector, LP9000 and CP870.
I removed shorted Cap CL053 and replaced UF400.
Behavior if DC only plugged:
Taking 5.23V, 0.12A (somtimes jumps up to 0.6A for a second)...
Thank you for your reply :-)
The input fuses are all good.
For the CC1/2 pins i got the following mesurments (in ohm):
USBC_TA_CC1
19.0
USBC_TA_CC2
15.0
USBC_TB_CC1
7.7
USBC_TB_CC2
127.9
USBC_XA_CC1
19.3
USBC_XA_CC2

USBC_XB_CC2

Hi there,
after some time of inactivity i'm back :)
I got some problem with an MBP 2017 4TBT here.
It doesn't show any signs of liquid damage but was obvisously opened before.
First step was checking amp and voltage with ampeter but there the charger does not even turn the ampmeter on - on...
