nvm. issue gone. ultrasonic the machine its all good. touched up first line of balls. i only seen the first couple go bad... not sure what else also someone tightened the screws real hard loosened them a bit.

Hey all i got a mbp which has strange issue. it chimes but doesn't turn on. no history - no sign of droppage or liquid. When i hold power button i get chime. fan doesnt spin and cpu gets very hot. When i disconnect battery and press power button i get no chime and no sign of power. ppbus_g3h...

yeh i test each slot with one ram seated same issue. i cant seem to locate ddr3 test card atm.

hey guys checked balls under memory slot nothing seem loose. voltages: everything is good with the exception of ppvcore_s0_axg 0v 0.004 res under thermal pch is heating up like a mofo. i dont know history doesnt seem to have any liquid?

Hey guys i got one of these iMac's fuse is blown. no schematics. Just want to know would these work same as macbook pro f9700 fuse>???

after i programmed serial serial was showing with unhappy face. I then fixed fsys and got the smiley face. everything else was good vss fsys serial. again boot to os. serial everything displays fine. i do a few resets ... serial disappears.

Changed bios, programmed serial. everything working. i do pram reset again serial is gone!

OK so i inspected around spi rom chip and im missing r6131. EDIT: checked another board and it is probably no stuff but it doesnt say on schematics - got rolled

i was just playing around with it and tried pram and serial disappeared again.

i was testing s0 and found the weirdest thing. checking s0 lines and checked pp5vs0_boot on c7520 pin 1 measures 5v but on pin 2 i got 9.80v!!!! and also another update. this has big dent in one corner which i did not see before. so maybe some cold solder?

yes all good i reflow and green light AND fan spin.... power is the booting up chime --- but having wifi. i will test and report back.. thanks INFORMATICOS!!!
