I absolutely hate these boards. Not sure where to start?

i have taken some voltages:

ppbus_g3h 8.6v
pp3v3_g3h 3.3v
pp3v3r3v0_aon 3.26v
ppvrtc_g3h 3.3v
pp5v_g3h_ldo 5v
pp3v3_s5 3.31v
pp5v1_s4sw 0v
pp1v8_s3 1.8v
pp1v5_s0 1.5v
pp1v2_s3 1.2v
pp1v05_sus 1.06v
ppvcc_s0_cpu 1.58v

inspected under microscope nothing unusual.
tried the pram nvram etc.

You get even S0 voltages, so cannot be 0 Ampers drawn from charger.
Did you check for USB activity?
Any history available?

If VCore is present, no way it's zero amp draw. This sounds like a dead CPU btw. Def check for USB activity of any kind.

i was testing s0 and found the weirdest thing. checking s0 lines and checked pp5vs0_boot on c7520 pin 1 measures 5v but on pin 2 i got 9.80v!!!!

and also another update. this has big dent in one corner which i did not see before. so maybe some cold solder?

"checked pp5vs0_boot on c7520 pin 1 measures 5v but on pin 2 i got 9.80v!!!!"
That's absolutely correct.
Google may know something about what a bootstrap capacitor is; just ask him...

"Did you check for USB activity?"
???

"big dent in one corner"
Broken solder/trace under some BGA chip can be a nightmare...
