[FIXED] A1466 - no backlight after liquid event @ LVDS connector

OK, I will try another display, and reflow U7701. I don't understand how to check integrity of XW7720.

Very small liquid damage. Machine powers up but no backlight. F7700 OK and 8.5v present there. What to check next?

A1502 - no power, 19.5v drawing about 1.3-1.6a, current draw very slow falls

I'm assuming the 1.052 coil is the CPU. No history either, but most of my customers don't tell me the truth.

A1502 - no power, 19.5v drawing about 1.3-1.6a, current draw very slow falls

I've tried disconnecting the battery but no luck there. This machine will start out drawing about 1.3a, then slowly, start dropping at about 1ma/second. SSD memory controller gets hot, but CPU does not feel warm, no fans. I connected the Chipmunk tester and I have two solid red lights, but no...

    A1707 no power - 20v, cycling draw .010ma-369ma

Connecting power, I am getting 20v, but the current draw is cycling. Visual inspection of top of logic board looks good. I checked for PPBUS_G3H @ C8008/1 and it pulses as well, 13v - 0v - 13v Here's a video. And a video of the Chipmunk tester.

Should A2337 output to external video with LCD panel removed?

I didn't know there was a PRAM reset on M1, or any apple silicon. There is? Just CMD-OPT-P-R like the intel macbooks?

Should A2337 output to external video with LCD panel removed?

I have been meaning to order that tester - thank you for the link, I will order it this morning. I have other simple testers and yes, I have 5v output to USB.

Should A2337 output to external video with LCD panel removed?

I cleaned up the header and replaced the resistor but that didn't change anything. Still the startup chime, 20v, pulling about 1.5a, caps lock working, no video output, still no usb activity.

Should A2337 output to external video with LCD panel removed?

I found some damage to the video header on the bottom side of the board and also what looked like a small coil or resistor which was blown off one of its pads. I can't find a boardview and schematic though - 820-02899-A

Should A2337 output to external video with LCD panel removed?

I connected a USB flash drive which has an LED which blinks when it's being accessed. There was no blinking so I'd say there is no USB activity. Possible this device is *not* booted, despite the caps lock functioning correctly? What else can I check?

Should A2337 output to external video with LCD panel removed?

As the title states, I've got a A2337 which powers up(chime, caps lock, etc) but I can't get it to output to external video(screen removed).

820-00165 need advice on this repair(jumper needed)

This customer attempted a battery replacement themselves. They damaged J4800 so I needed to replace it. Once I got it soldered to the board, I noticed the pads from PIN 8 and 12 were loose from the board. I'm looking at the boardview and I don't really see a good way to jump these two pins...

A2251 - 820-01949 - liquid damage, powers on, only external display, solid apple logo

Sorry to sound dumb, but exactly what am I checking? Diode mode?

A2251 - 820-01949 - liquid damage, powers on, only external display, solid apple logo

No signs of liquid damage on J8500. All EDP_INT lines read ~.263V on diode mode. U4802 is on the bottom side of the board. How should I set this up for testing?
