Thank you Jadao and Duke. I wouldn't have even known where to begin. So I do see a micro-tear on the LED flex. I've done dozens and dozens of these without an issue before. Just glad to know then not know. Thank you : ) Started on the board side and worked my way up to the screen...
Whats going on here? Looks like stage lights, every other light is off.
Don't see nothing blown on the inverter board. The one fuse though don't beep. But it looks like a fuse it's white. Do like larger type fuses not beep?
iPhone 6 drop no wifi, no PP1V8_SDRAM. I reflowed the wifi module and now I have PP1V8_SDRAM.
But why? PP1V8_SDRAM does not come from wifi, no shorts, etc.
I know if something was cold jointed in the module and reflowing it would make it work. But why the absence and presence after reflow ???
I was posting the question because I see it a lot here and there and just dumbfounded on what to do or where to start. I have one that is i6 and a 6+. Turns out the 6 is ok with a different SIM, & the 6+ is back with customer (using on wifi), waiting for his return. I will definitely follow-up...
So I'm looking at PP1V8_OSCAR line, it should be 1.8V I imagine right?
So if its 2.8V, that ok or not ok?
Don't understand how it can be pulled up. Or does it not matter?
Hmmm... I'll probably probe around those areas and see what I see. Thank you. It's a good place to start : ) Thank you for some direction. Didn't know baseband has its own CPU.
What ever happened to that Louis? You just have to not show the logo part of it? I see you referencing them again on your videos. But educationally does make sense. Hope that was your ticket out of that hole. You are the best though! Great teacher!
Anyone good at the searching issue? I don't even know where I should start and see this often. (Usually they are from hard drops). I tried to reflow some chips but ended up fucking the phones I've tried off, and all just guess work. I don't like working like that, LOL. I know Jason knows this...
Check FL4211, I usually just put a wire instead if no good. That's what it usually is for me. Tip: use hot air at 200 degrees to get rid of black goop and an exacto blade.
(Yay! This is fucking amazing! I used to be the one asking all the questions - Now I can help out if I can. Gimme a cookie...
