    [SOLVED]820-2610-A no harddrive?

No efi pass. With USB keyboard and internal disconnected it still auto writes in the password field. With the internal I can stop the auto writing but with USB keyboard it just continues to write. There must be something wrong with the internal keyboard connector. I will look closer at it...

I get 12.6 volt on both sides. It was only that pin on u7400 that looked bad. But almost all joints around u7400 look a bit poorly soldered. There are many pads that doesn,t hav solder up on the side on the chip. Can the problem be caused by a bad u7400. Should i try to replace it?

Another 820-2936 Fan spins 2 sec

I bought the mbp for 50$ with no other information from The seller than that it wouldn't start. R7402 doesn't look corroded. It's the pin on U7400 that it's attached to that was corroded.

Another 820-2936 Fan spins 2 sec

hi I think I have problems with understanding how to measure things. I measured L7550 and L7510 in diode mode, red on ground black on coil, and got 0.013 If i measure ohm on my fluke between coil and ground i get 10.9 on L7550 and L7510 My other board, with no image; measures 10.7 on L7550 and...

yes, it's to low. I wrote that in my second and third post in this thread. Or is it not a short to ground when it measures that low?

Another 820-2936 Fan spins 2 sec

measured over. diode mode L7510 and L7550 is 0.015 on both R7402 is ok but pin 2 on u7400 does look a bit worse than the other pins.
