Original issue was liquid damage on the resistors under the CPU R1672 R1449 R1669 R1447, replaced them and machine boots and works perfectly. But when shut down the machine will boot up again after 5seconds or so, power button is not stuck because if I hold it down while booted the shutdown...

Replaced U6100 from donor, now boots 10sec after pressing power. Do I now read original ROM and transfer to donor chip?

not reversed but full 360 twisted

Whoever plugged the lvds cable in plugged it in 360 degrees the wrong way for some reason, put it right seems to be ok now

Screen sometimes works perfectly then will suddenly have lines running accross it then if you fiddle arround with the screen the image will suddenly come back again. Is this something caused by a bad lvds cable? or somethig with the panels ribbon cables (ie have to replace screen)

Yeah works fine without the keyboard but the fans also plug into the keyboard now (thank you apple). The keyboard in these are a big circuit board with about 6 IC's and a few components there was corrossion and a couple of traces corroded through, Fixed them with a jumper and now all is good...

UC seems to have cleared short on the board and is now getting vcore and measuring 20v on that white fuse but keyboard also has a short and when i plug it in it goes back to the 5.2v and no boot. Cant seem to find replacement UK keyboard for the 2017 yet. Will the 2016 work? or does anyone know...

I dont know how to check the rails without brd and schematic. I did check the capacitors in the corroded areas and they weren't shorted. I'll put it through UC and post pics
