Do you note any fluctuation at PPBUS_G3H and 3V3_G3H_RTC? Compare diode mode readings around U7800 with good board. Also test with charged battery.

Yo MUST solder the chips in the same position. If you mixed 3 chips, not easy to find the correct combination now.

What shows the USB-C meter? You should be able to detect if battery is charging. Does it turn on with charger alone (no battery)?

You should replace the CD3217 chip. Bad diodes means overvoltage occured; the chip may be affected. Be aware, you need the chip from donor board, same position!

If no short on big coils (including SSD), then is safe to inject higher voltage. Increase step by step, using a good thermal camera.
