Didn't see your last post until now. I replaced the LB and still same issue. This narrows it down to three things that have not been replaced by me. The GPU , The Power supply and the actual wiring harness from the power supply to the rest of the computer. I do have the IR sensor unplugged...

Ok I get it, PM_SLP_S3_L goes through R8178, becomes PM_SLP_S3_R_L to U8180, then becomes PM_SLP_S3_BUF_L

And I looked at the data sheet for that IC, pin 4 is the "ouput" pin.

Probably not the best way, but I have a working LB.

So all of S0 were present

I found that by measuring all of the rails required to get ALL_SYS_PWRGD and found none were missing.

Oh ok. The one I replaced was Q8150

Replaced U9000 and no change.

This one is solved. Was ALL_SYS_PWRGD IC.

Yeah I have steady 3.3V

Removed R8178 and still 0V.

So I have yet another 820-00165 that posts to flashing ? has PM_SLP_S4_L but PPBUS is 8.18V. WHat the heck is going on here? This board has been messed with by someone else a little.

Got a sick LB from a customer. They foolishly bought it broken from ebay thinking they could save money and have me fix it. After inspecting it through the MS I saw that R1623, R1451, R1583 & R1462 were toast so had to replace and run a couple wires. Board is drawing 30 mA and not turning on...

Had to replace U1950. Board working now

So PP3V42 was shorted to GND. found that the SMC was causing it so I replaced it. When I fired it up it was drawing 500mA and fan spin. I turned it off and put the board back in to the chassis, turned it on and now it is drawing 23mA but I have an orange light. I swear this board is possessed...
