aprendiz exactly as you said. i noticed recently the macbook when ever you tap it whilst it has a ram in the bottom slot would freeze. after inspecting under microscope i can see there are some cold solder joints. I touched them up and testing now. thanks

Yeah. interesting thing is i tried the slots. one in top then one in bottom np. it usually occurs when i do both slots. i will test the slot again. is there any fix for this.

this is intermittent i have run asd and on several occasions it passed everynow and then doesnt turn on and has 3 beeps. history is that it had very small corrosion on the side of u1800 rest of board is very clean

12.6v on ppbus_g3h green light is present. there is some sign of water damage- board seems to be washed previous. 5v on L7260 1.05v on R1300 & R1302 no known history, ppvrtc on 3.3v im suspecting the u2800

voltages present ppbus_g3h ppdcin_g3h pp3v42_g3h the only thing i can see is ppvrtc_g3h has 3.3v instead of 3v? is this normal or did apple lie to us?

All good it works now jumper worked great. I cant believe i overlooked a probe point.

duke most are reading ~497 with the exception of pin 18 which is 0 i turn over to the over side and one of the probe points which connect to L9080 is completely corroded. could this be the issue? should i run a jumper from pin 18 to L9080?

Hey all. Got this board come in... This one got a hole in the PCB - gone pretty deep. First time I seen this. My question is: should i even bother? wouldnt all the traces inside be gone/many broken lines? What would you guys do with something like this? Donor pile? Thanks

voltage on smc_lid is 3.42v

Hey duke, finally got around to this one. Replaced coil got it working bluetooth still not recognised but i have now marked this as a donor since it started presenting some gpu issues. what a waste of time... thanks for your help bud.
