I spent a good hour checking over the board but did no spot any hints, as such I did US clean this board. I do now get quarter fan spin which repeats. Same voltage jumping on PP5V_S4. Any further thoughts before it goes to the bottom of the pile ?
Thanks guys. Resistance (not diode mode) between pins 1 on 7310 and 7320 and PPBUS_G3H (F7140) is 22ohms. Diode mode voltage drop to ground on pins 1&2 of L7310 and L7320 is 0.012v

second post today (sorry no easy boards for me today)
PPBUS_g3h - 0.9v short to ground.
removed f7700 - short not on LCDBKLT side
removed f7140 no short on pin 1 (if apply power with this removed voltage is 8.5v)
short to ground on system side (pin 2 F7140 onwards)
tried removeing...
Thanks Duke. Initially i cleaned and touched up the connector. After this did not change anything i removed the connector entirely. Looking at the pads for the connector they don't look burnt or missing.
Having another look round the board there is a dab of liquid on top of U7310 - but pins and...

liquid damage to io board connector on logic. does not power on. Green light present. No other liquid observable.
Not going into S4 state. Readings:
PPBUS_G3H 12.6v
PPVIN S5 HS COMPUTING ISNS 12.6v
PPVIN_S5_HS_OTHER3V3 ISNS 12.58v
PPVRTC_G3H 3.3v
PP5V_S5 5v

It looks ok and looks the right way round. I think that you've knocked off R5413 which is a current sensing double resistor which is normally present (at least on the boards i've done this to) to the bottom left of the replaced cap in your picture.
Changed U7700 from donor board. No change, re did the readings. Any other thoughts before trying another ? Possible to pull down LCDBKLT_EN_L to ground with a jumper just to test the rest up the chain?
History:
Liquid damaged no green light.
Burnt KBD backlight connector J4915 (removed and area cleaned) - no short to ground on pin 3/4.
D7010 missing (replaced) i've not idea why this was missing......
Now powering on with green light but no backlight. (Does boot up checked with microscope...
(After trying new fan) Check that the fan plug is sitting in the socket correctly as if pin 2/3 not connecting it may run full check that the socket does not have broken pins 2 or 3 to the board. Check resistance of R6061 (100k), R6065 (47k), R6060 (47k) (page 45 of schematic) check continuity...
thank you duke.
R8000, reading shows no short on pads 1 & 2 0.9v drop to ground in diode mode.
Same for R8011
R8050 measures 0.4ohm as resistance, 0.941v drop to ground in diode mode.
When board is powered voltage on R8050 jumps between 0.4 and 0.6v
R8020 0.731v voltage drop to ground in...
820-3437 - looks like it may have been cleaned, so no hints. Green light on charger. No fan spin.

Thank you Louis.
the dog piss was very localised in the LVDS area as far as i could see, but it made a right mess.
PM_DSW_PWRGD measures 3.4v at R8141, R8141 measures 93K ohm (vs 100k on schematic so ok).
No corrosion around U1950 that is obvious, here are the pin voltages / diode mode in...
History: Dog piss on logic board (yes, customer admitted to dog piss).
Was turning on but no backlight, had major damage to the backlight and intMD/lvds area. Stripped the intMD/lvds connector and replaced all the components (fuse, 1012 caps, coil etc) until i got 0.542 diode mode reading on...
To find part numbers i use a UK site http://thebookyard.com - i enter the serial number and it gives all the suitable parts and apple part numbers - can then search eBay for them.
