i meant that i have 3.3V for 3v3_s5 and 12v for 12v_s5 up till when i click the the power button and it blinks.
means voltage drops to 0 for both lines and go back to 3.3v and 12v shortly after

that did the trick, i drill it down to SSD issue. Problem is i tried several SSD(apple ssd), known good working and tested with another macbook runs fine! but some of them were not detected at all, getting Folder logo on boot, but found 1 that boots and shut down properly now.

sorry for ranting but WTF??? board came from a customer who previously passed to a shop who says can't be fix and needed board replacement.
she needed data but sabotaging the board for business? i'll make sure this shop is properly backlisted and known to all local shops and customers to stay...

when you say Classic SSD failure, the NAND itself fail?
i see alot videos with same symptoms but they do a CPU reball instead and SSD is back.
unfortunately for me customer is paying alot for data, i will have to even replace CPU if needed.
i dug alittle further, found that vcore power was not enabled by u7100.
and possible for you to help check if R7861 is supposed to be no stuff or i'm indeed missing a resister there
board came with missing, cd3215. replaced it and i get 20v 144ma on charger. CPU heats up but no CPU vcore
resistance on vcore is 8ohm (phase 1 &2). CPU dead?
on the old battery is 0v at the connector but 10.9V at the terminals, guess the battery controller board is dead somehow
on the new battery connector 11.3v ppbus is 11.3v and 3v3_g3h is 3.2V
i want to add as well that the low battery sign does not consistently come up.. sometimes it does...

820-01958 came in with a water damage at the titan ridge area, surrounding area cleared up.
macbook now boots with battery but not charging. 20v when plugged in charger but 20ma. customer took back macbook for data backup, brought back laptop with depleted battery to be fixed.

i have an 820-01814 which has water damage at the speaker right AMP area. that was cleared but one of the amp u6500 was roasted and cannot be fix, pads on the chip are gone(this can't be replaced right?). i have not replaced it and left it off the board
right now board takes 20V 20ma and does...
all SPI termination resisters and traces are in order.. no other corrosion seen from the original c1801(removed) and Q1840(replaced).
J6100 is removed and SMC already reballed. which only left CPU. dead CPU or just reflow?
