I checked the audio board on the machine, it's perfectly clean. There was some liquid damage from hot chocolate on the board around Q7660 which has been cleared, and near C6481.

This board was cleaned up before I got it and was told there was some water damage on the underside. There looks like there my have been liquid around U7210/U7220/U7230. All 3 coils L7210/L7220/L7230 read on diode model -0.001v. Am I correct in assuming the Cpu is fried? before I spend more time...
I have a A1508 16gb board number 802-4924-a here with no USB/Cpu activity.
No sign of spillage on the board.
It drawing 370ma with fan spin . Not sure if its normal for these board to reboot twice?.

No evidence of spillage. I tried good i/o cable and board but still no Audio. Os does not see any audio device. checked J9500 under microscope for bad connection.

After resolder U8500 then it drops back to 20ma. I noticed U3900 was getting hot so removed it but still the same. I got PCH_HSIO_PWR_EN then 1.05v on
PP1V05_S0SW_PCH_HSIO on u8500 but then it dropped back to .30ma.
Hi is there a quick way to tell if the cpu is dead on this model?. Im getting 460ma. I have tried a new clean bios from this forum but still the same. No evidence of spillage on the board. Checked termination spi resistors also.
L7310/L7320 have 1.8v
L7630 has 1.05v

U5850 is not on this board around the area looks ok. I checked caps and resistors and traces around U5870 no issues. I removed Q5871 and it runs even slower to a crawl.
I swapped the SMC in case it was having an issue but still the same.
