The client reported that the Mac was working, but it stopped recognizing the charger and the battery ran out.
The board is perfect, with no oxidation. But in diode mode, the PP3V3_UPC0_LDO line was altered by 0.033. The UF260 was heating up a lot.
My question: can I replace just the UF260 or...
To test and find out the bad side, correct me if I'm wrong.
Using the logic of the older ones. I thought about removing the RR201 and making a jumper connecting AMR_RIGHT_OR_ND_1V8 to AMR_LEFT_OR_ND_1V8!
The Mac works fine. But it doesn't turn off when the screen is closed. The hall sensor fails and the Mac turns on (as if the screen had been lifted). If you leave the Mac turned off, with the screen open, it doesn't turn on.
I checked the board, everything is perfect. I looked for the sensor to...
I don't have a recorder for this chip.
But I found something strange. I don't have 1.8v on the CB302, but I do have it on the CB402. The CB302 line doesn't have any 1.8v line. I made a jumper between these components, but nothing changed.
I placed the logic board in a topcase with a good battery, it turns on, but does not charge the battery. It pulls 20v, but pulls 0.002a.
The DFU restore attempt did not erase the Mac. So the system starts normally.

I always get this model board with this problem.
It had oxidation near UB300, with a short on the PP3V3_UPC_TA_LDO (CB308) line. I ended up with the short and the UB300 pulled 5v - 0a, the others 5v - 0.25a. So I replaced the UB300, now all ports pull 5v - 0.25a.

Now I have some voltages that before, with 20v, I didn't have.

Sorry, I haven't checked yet. But CD3215 have changed. Do I test the U7000 even with them strange?
I checked the LDO lines in diode mode and all four are OK. But the voltages are strange. I no longer have any of the 1.1v LDO line (with charger in the port for the CD3215). The 1.8v line only...
I had 20v, no battery. but during testing, it changed. Now I only have 5.2v and 0a. PPBus dropped to 1v.
I was checking the voltages and disconnected the source, when I connected it again, it was pulling 5.2v. What I managed to measure until I lost 20v.
