    the amp meter show 5v .900 amps and i just let it sit for a few hours. that's must've charged up the battery because now it's booting but not charging. Now all ports show 20v .000 on amp meter but only with the charged battery attached

    it will not enter dfu mode. the amber indicator on the magsafe turns off for a second whenever the power button is pressed

    this board was shorted at ppbus because of ug800. i've replaced ug800 and still no 20v. what's the function of UG800? is pp5v_s2sw_usbc23 important?

    i think i might've shorted the processor. i tested pp1v8_s1_clvr_vddh by injecting 1.8volts. the voltage on the dc supply drops and the amps goes to max but nothing gets visibly warm on the thermal camera

    the ppbus is 12.4v for a split second then it drops to 5v and continues to drop dramatically down to 1.7v. the amp meter stays at 20v 0.000a

    there is no schematic or boardview for this newer model. the only area corroded was the audio amps. maybe removing ur600/630/660 is the answer?

    i've replaced u8100 and the short on 1v8_s2 is gone but i don't know if u8100 is attached correctly. what can i measure to check?

    one of the secondary rails is shorted to ground? another thing that i first noticed is that the amp meter will continue to reboot with the battery attached

    what does a short between ppbus_aon and the secondary rail going to look like? will there be very little resistance the two?
