I get pp3v3_s4 but 3v3_s3 is low .400v now i assumed it was smc so i switched it out issue persist odd thing is i did get it to power on once by using power on pads. I have had no luck doing so again. Smc_on_off_L stays at a constant 3.4v after using power on pads not sure if thats the issue...

So if trackpad cable is bad it will also mess with the keyboard not functioning properly? Ill try and report back.

U1950 and the components around was the only area to show water damage. I even took off smc and reballed it still no chime. There is no water damage to u1900, u6100 or j6100. Update: ok i guess the macbook is working now. Not sure if it was my display port cable that wasnt working or if...

i just replaced a bunch of components in that area including clock chip because it was water damaged. now i get 3.3v on c1802/03 as far as power cycling no pp3v3_s4 still .600v and drops.

ppbus is present 3v3_s5 is present 5v_s5 is present c1802 is 3.0v c1803 is 3.042v i removed smc and area looks clean

Switched out the isl for a 6258 now its back to charging normally!

board wont turn on and had very noticeable water damage. replaced whatever was badly damaged and retraced some areas. i get a green light on charger. pp3v3_s4=.600v something is pulling s4 down correct? tried comparing the board with a known good but could not find any obvious differences...

8.19v without and pulsing 11-11.20v with battery connected

ok got the machine working again but it wont charge. charger light slightly pulses while connected. 17/18 - 27/28 of u7000 are giving proper readings.

yes ppvrtc is present.

sorry pp5v_s4rs3 is missing and not power cycling. pp5v_s4_ipd is present.

nvm was dumb and didn't check if it chimed or had backlight. it chimed and FB trace was messed up. all is working now.

so it started with this board having a short on c7515 ppbus_s5_hs_computing_isns. got rid of it board powers on but no video. ppvcore_s0_cpu fluctuates from 0.600-0.700v must cpu be a constant 1.25v?
