[SOLVED]820-2523 not charging

So the issue started with slow charge.
pin 17/18 and 27/28 checked out so i decided to replace the isl but now i only get a green light no charge indication.

i checked the smc data line resistors and theyre fine

the board will run off the battery and charger but will shut off if the charger is plugged in and battery is removed.

also i can see the magsafes green light will start to flicker when the battery is plugged in.

also q7055 (i cant remember exact component number) the current sensing component for charge fluctuates between 11.7 to 11.9v on pad 5.

could this be a case of bad isl from donor board?

Original issue is Q7055. Replace ISL again.

replaced isl now im not getting pm_slp_s4l board will not turn on.

I cannot see over the internet what you have broken....Is PPBUS still present?

yes its there at 8.16v

And what does a low PPBUS voltage like that mean?

ohh too low.

ok got the machine working again but it wont charge. charger light slightly pulses while connected. 17/18 - 27/28 of u7000 are giving proper readings.

What is PPBUS then without a battery?

8.19v without and pulsing 11-11.20v with battery connected

Did you replace the ISL with a 6258? This is not a 6259! If that is correct check voltages at Q7065.

Switched out the isl for a 6258 now its back to charging normally!
