I do have a MBP A2289 (820-01987) which is not turning ON has around 5.15v on the USB-C connectorI
tried DFU to see if have any behavior on Apple Configurator. Nothing happened
PPBUS_G3H = 12.23 and drops to 8 in a constant loop
3V3_G3H_RTC = Goes to 1.7v and drops in a constant loop
its not turning on
I dissemble everything and now I am with the bare board and the DC-IN adapter
PP18V5_DCIN_FUSE = 17V
PPBUS = 0V F9700
PP3V42_G3H = 0V
Found bad F9700 and replace it with another one
Now I do get 11.06V
But still same behavior the machine turn on but still with a backlight issue.
If I use a flash light I can see the user screen to login
Customer told he brought to another store to replace trackpad and not its not turning on anymore
The board doesnt look like any component was replaced. To be honest it looked untouched
But I saw some small balls around the U6100
PPBUS = 8.58v
PP3V42_G3H = 3.39v
PP5V_S5 = 5V
PP5V_S4RS3 = 0v...
MBA A2337
If you turn it on it works perfectly. However if you close the lid and open again keyboard and trackpad do not work anymore you need to RESTART machine for it to work again.
If you plug a USB mouse it will work even if the trackpad is NOT WORKING
Any ideas about this issue?
