    820-00928: Not recognizing SSD

Have this board that doesn't recognize the SSD. I've tried clean bios with same issue. PP3V3_SSD_NAND, PP1V8_SSD_FMC, PP12V_SSD_VPP all come on to their respective voltages, but after a few seconds, they all drop out. After about 5 seconds PP12V_SSD_VPP try to come back on, goes up to 10/11v...

    820-01987 not power up

So just as a last attempt at the board, not sure this was the actual fix, but i noticed U7710 had a short, so swapped it out. Was able to then do the DFU. The board appears to power up as caps lock comes on and off, there's usb activity and the laptop chimes when i plug in the power. I still...

Yes. Both revive and then restore. It goes half way and just hangs for a long while before then switching to the locked symbol.

    820-01987 not power up

Have this board that won't power up at first. Found missing PP5V_G3S. Isolated to U8110. PP5V_G3S restored once U8110 is replaced. But board still isn't powering up. The fan does spin but that's it. Any suggestions? Here are a few voltage readings PPVCCGT_CPU_PH1/2 - 0.0v PPVCC_CPU_PH1/2 -...

820-00281: Display won't come back on from sleep

SMC_LID: 3.4v open and 0.0v once close. But the issue is present even when I don’t close the lid, when it goes to sleep.

820-00281: Display won't come back on from sleep

Been a while. Finally got this unit back. Anyway, same issue. I went ahead and recalled the smc with the same result. Recap on what have been done so far: No sign of corrosion. Inspected J520/60 and also R5252/53. With Lid open TP[1]SMC_LID_RIGHT reads 3.4v, once closed it changes to 0.0v but...

    820-00239: PP20V_USBC_XA_VBUS Missing

Originally came in with the critical update issue. Found minor liquid spill and some corrosion. Cleaned up the corrosion but was still having the critical update. All of a sudden it's stopped point up, come to find out PP20V_USBC_XA_VBUS is missing but all the other 3 ports are at 20v and...

820-00281: Display won't come back on from sleep

Left sensor is also responding the same, SMC_LID_LEFT_R 3.4v open and 0.0v once close. Same result with SMC_LID. Another thing i just notice is with the display. After a restart, the display would start flickering on and off every 10 or so seconds. This issue isn't always present after restart...

Have this board that once it goes into sleep, the display won't come back on unto i reboot, but external display works just fine. Even after i unplug from the external display, the internal display never comes back on until reboot. No sure if this is related, but also noticed the internal...

Apparently the customer must have done a t2 restore before they sent it to me cause the drive is empty also in target mode.

Sorry for the mix up. I had a second board with the exact same power issue which was resolved using the correct power brick. This one I only did the revive with hopes of saving the data. With that being said, do you know of a socket reader that i can use to reach each ssd chip after pulling them...

Final question, now that i have the mac booted up, the SSD is in an uninitialized state. How do i initialize the ssd. I've tried first aid with no lock? Also T2 revive goes half way and just hangs for a while before it finally runs through and the mac restarts to the question mark folder. The...

Have this board that got liquid spilled on it. I was able to isolate the short to the T2 chip. Since this would be my first attempt on replacing T2 chip, do i need to replace the SSD's as well?
