Hey guys, i have a fully working 3115. only drama is fan goes 100% few seconds after turn on. I checked fan connector and resistors around which all work measure fine. When the machine is on and i test for voltages i probe smc_fan_0_tach and the fans go to normal speed. when i let go they ramp...

no luck with another lcd.

i changed u9701 still same i get 2.49v on lvds_bkl_pwm_rc

3.3v on lcd_bklt_en 3.1 on bklt_en lvds_bkl_pwm_rc is missing/very low ~100mv i remove r9704 and run jumper from bklt_en to lvd_bkl_pwm_rc still no back light.

r9708/09 45/47k resistance return resistors all have around .4v pins 3-8 on j9000 also have .4 so i think traces good. i will try another lcd

yes now i have image but still no backlight. i got two of these boards on my desk with same issue - hopefully when i solve one it will also fix the other. 12.6v on pin 1 on j9000.

no external (off hdmi) i tried good known lcd. Chime is present - both speakers are distorted!

i ordered connectors for the time being. In the meantime i plug into charger and 20v with 0a.

u4900 area look good. i tested resistors values around seem good. voltage 3.3 on 1, 5, 8

yep i got a good working shell so i just transplant the logicboard to eliminate keyboard/trackpad issue.
