hey guys having a issue here, computer hangs on the apple screen, then stays white or gray, sometimes it shows bule screen with no text on it, any ideas?

as the title states, runs fine for about a hour or two just randomly shuts off. no liquid damage.

have you taken the board out of the machine yet? there might be water damage, seems like from your story that the customer was annoyed from the fan noise and tried to take matters into his own hands.

hey george i replaced the r7005, now it read 20 ohm, also wanted to note that r7051 was reading 0.7 ohm i replaced that also now it reads 2.2, any more suggestions?
