    You are correct sir my apologies for confusing the situation. I can usually see the image with my nake eye but this time I had to use a flash light to see the blinking folder but it is there. So to figure out why I have no back light.

    The board looks un-sodomized no signs of previous work. I have not done anything to it besides what we have discussed. Out of probably over 100 power cycles since I have been testing it I have maybe gotten video 5 times. Ill let you know on the MUX/GPU stuff. Thanks Duke!

    Heated the gpu up to 100c, tried again issue remains. An observation I made when I had the board out is that after the chime the fans rev up to full speed and remain there they do not throttle down. This was happening before and after heating the board. Dont know if that mean anything to this...

    I replaced c9560, and also just got my known good screen, still same issue not able to get image or backlight. I get chime every time.

    I understand that, im more convinced now that the connector is causing a problem. Which is also causing incorrect measurements. Thanks guys ill let you know the measurements after replacing the connector with the correct one.

    Okay, I should have correct connector tomorrow or Tuesday, Ill swap it out, But I undoubtedly have "ghost image" on screen I can see the apple when it posts. Its not just my subconscious putting it there :D

    Yes If I hold the screen at the correct angle I can see an image on the screen, pin1 - 0 pin2 - 0 pin3 - 0 pin4 - 3.2v pin5 - Sync .14v pin6 - 3.2v pin7- 3.2v I did change c9015 and l9004 after I took these measurements and found out that im missing 3.2v on pin 2 and pin 3. Still same...

    I got this board today, I was a able to get video out of it once out of probably 15 power cycles. It does chime every power cycle. I ran out of time today at work to start measuring power rails. Am I correct in thinking this is a 330uf tantalum cap problem (c9560)? Or at least a good starting point?

    The voltage was 0.3v, I changed that cap measuring 1.1v fixed the issue. Thanks Duke. I just watched one of the videos from Louis last night that he did this is exact same process. Very helpful stuff.
