2010 A1286 nVidia GPUs

I’m pretty familiar with the rarity of genuine AMD chips for the later A1286s, has anyone had any experience good or bad with trying to find the nVidia chips for the 2010 models. I’ve had a couple requests for 820-2850 board repairs that don’t exhibit the kernel panics and freezing that I tend to associate with the C9560 fix. Are these chips also pretty impossible to find or is it just a matter of checking what suppliers send you before trying to install them?

Chips are easy to find because you never need them. What are the issues you have?

The traditional kernel panics and freezing that seems like the capacitor fix however it’s got terrible graphics anomalies. I attached a picture of what the particular one is doing.

I have found that even replacing the GPU and VRAM this issue will come back. You may try for yourself if you want...

Dang is it most likely an unrepairable board issue, is there anyway to extend the life of the board or is it game over?

Replace the GPU and VRAM and say a little prayer.

don't waste your time, this pattern is game over. I tried MUX, VRAM, GPU. you will still get the same result, I will vote for the problem on PCB
