No LD visible but dark red TP's all over... So something happened. Restored cpu vcore and ddr rails. All power rails present now

Pm_pch_sys_pwrok is present.

powers on, continuous fan spin, no usb mouse light.

Dead cpu?

CPU Vcore is present? Connected a speaker to the 4 pin connector to check for beeps?

Yes sir. Nothing on speaker. I'm looking over the audio circuit now to make sure it's capable of beeping. XW6701 was missing but looks like that's for mic. odds that the audio and usb circuit are trolling? garbage under smc?

Could be anything, if you suspect liquid got at the SMC give it a reflow. What is voltage on Vcore?

I read a post where a member reflowed an smc, no change before he removed and reballed the same smc with success? Do you ever recommend this or waste of time? (Given ppbus_g3h isn't 12.2 indicating bad smc)

I'll try reflow. Any other ideas?

It could really be anything. It depends if I replace or reball an SMC kinda need to use your intuition and judge if there is corrosion under it or that it got fried. I really have no other ideas for this board besides a close inspection for corrosion or missing parts.
