HI.

I have this A1398 820-00163 board that once in a while shows a picture, but mostly doesn't. I'm suspecting the GPU, as I had before the 820-3332 and after disabling the GPU all works fine. Is there a way to disable the GPU on this board model, please?

Did you test in safe mode?
Starting in diagnostic mode pops up any error?

No, I haven't tested it, at this point, it doesn't wasn't to show a picture at all. A couple of times it showed and it stopped, just powers on fans spinning
