No corrosion board, came with a short on PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS and also on CHGR_PHASE from U7100, replaced U7100 with a new one and same thing.

PPBUS is
PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS
PPBUS_S5_HS_OTHER_ISNS
PPVRTC_G3H
PP5V_S5
PP3V3_S5
PP3V3_SUS

All present and fine, all S4 rails are missing.

PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS: C7575 was a complete short to ground
CHGR_PHASE: U7100 partial short replaced and fixed

Both located with thermal camera.

PM_RSMRST_L and PM_PWRBTN_L steady high?
Test the board alone on the desk.
Use R5115/16 pads, instead of power button.

Check PM_DSW_PWRGD, SMC_ADAPTER_EN, PCH_DSWVRMEN, PM_BATLOW_L and the 4 PCH's RTC signals.

All my work is always done on desk board alone unless otherwise stated for testing reasons
Previews test was done using R5115 and no drop pulse

PM_DSW_PWRGD 3.4V
SMC_ADAPTER_EN 3.4V
PCH_DSWVRMEN 3.2V
PM_BATLOW_L 3.3V

PPVRTC_G3H 3.3V
PPVOUT_S0_PCH_DCPRTC 1.5V
PCH_CLK32K_RTCX1 0.4V
PCH_SRTCRST_L 3.3V
RTC_RESET_L 3.3V

Reballing did not fix it and I don't have another board to get the SMC from, I am assuming that it will only take SMC from same exact model.

The board can start with SMC from similar models (3435/37, 00165), but weird issues will appear.
If boots, there is a way to flash correct SMC firmware with rEFIt.

If you have such SMC in stock, can try to see if board boots; if yes, then buy correct SMC.
Be aware, PCH can also block the SMC to send out correct PM_PWRBTN_L signal.
