820-00165 No power

Hi!

No power, orange light.

PPBUS_G3H Shorted to ground. C7431:1 was bad. I removed it now the short is gone. It is ok if I don't replace it. I don't have a donor board now.

thanks

Machine can work without it.
However, easy to find 68uF on different MacBook scrap boards.
Even 33uF is better than nothing...

Hi!

F7140 voltage on pad 2 was 0.1 the fuse got no continuity, so I soldered a Wire between Pad1 and pad2. (correct me if this is bad) I don't have donor boards yet.

Fan Spin sometimes spin or start spinning after several minutes. No chime or image

Here are some voltages!

PPDCIN_G3H 16.5 V
PP3V42_G3H 3.4 V
PPBUS_G3H 8.6 V
PP3V3_S5 3.3 V
PP5V_S4RS3 5 V
PP3V3_SUS 3.3V
PP1V2_S3 1.2 V
PP1V8_S3 1.8V
PP1V05_S0 0.08V
PPVCC_S0_CPU 0.00V
ALL_SYS_PWRGD 0.27 V

I thing CPU is not being powered.

Thanks

Post U7600 basic voltages; pins 12, 16, 17, 6.
Be sure to have good components and traces on its area.

Just in case, check L7630 diode mode to ground.

Somehow soldering paste landed on C7616 bonding both paths. MacBook is up and running now.

What exactly U7600 is for? CPU's power supply?
Where can I find info about each ic is for?
I got info about most of them but there are a lot that still ignore.

Thanks again.
