820-00165 - Power Cycling.

Are there any common reasons a non-spill 820-00165 board might power cycle? I have no idea where to go with this one. Vcore is cycling.

Physical damage, knocked off components, corrupted BIOS, or 100 other reasons. History of the machine is important here.

Don't know, and won't know, anything other than that it cycles and wasn't spilled on. Board looks flawless. I was just wondering if there are any usual suspects in these types of situations. I don't see many non-spills power cycling.

It's booting normally too sometimes so it seems like I have a failing component or sketchy contact somewhere.

Yup, that is going to suck. Probably had an impact, cracked trace/ball somewhere. Pretty much a write off unless you can find corrosion.
