820-00239 left fan max speed

Hello,
I have this board that had short to ground on CB300 due to a liquid spill on that side. It was isolated liquid damage on that side of the board.
After repairing that the left fan (looking from top) now starts at max speed and stays there. The other fan is not even on.

I can control both fans with software.
I tried a known good top case with keyboard, trackpad, fans etc..

HWSensors shows all standard except airport proximity 129 degrees.

Any idea what to check?

A little update that might help.

Heating the SMC area seems to make the fan stop. I reflowed the SMC and it looked like it fixed the issue. However, after a few hours, I left it to sleep. While asleep the fan started on its own and now the issue is back again.

I am pretty sure there is no corrosion or crap under, I also don't have another 00239, I do have an 00850 but probably the SMC is different.
Is it worth ordering a donor for the SMC or it's unlikely that replacing it will fix the issue?

Check traces betweenQ6050, R6051, R6055, SMC and friends. pay attention corrosion as traces enter probe points.

Liquid spill affected more things.
If you've got that reaction reflowing SMC, you may need to reball it.
But could be another thing located close to heated area.
