I had an A1706 come in for a keyboard replacement due to a bunch of keys breaking off, I've heard the horror stories of trying to replace the keyboard itself so I ordered a topcase from MobileSentrix that came complete with battery, keyboard, trackpad, and touchbar. Upon swapping everything over, the trackpad, keyboard, and touchbar don't work or light up at all. Swapped everything back to the original topcase and everything was working again. Are these parts serialized in any way, or did I just get a garbage topcase?
